12月6日から仙台市のＩＣ乗車券「イクスカ」が 利用が始まる 。
映画「宇宙戦艦ヤマト２１９９　星巡る方舟」とタッグを組んでＰＲに乗り出している。
市営地下鉄では駅を巡るスタンプラリー企画のほか、ヤマトの主要キャラクターが登場する無料動画も配信し、利用を呼びかけている。
スタンプラリーでは、泉中央や長町など地下鉄南北線の６駅にあるスタンプを集めた先着５００人に、松島湾上空を飛ぶヤマトが描かれたクリアファイルと、劇中に登場する「国連宇宙軍」のエンブレムがあしらわれたＩＣカードケースがプレゼントされる。
