7月5日「ビキニスタイルの日」
1946年７月5日、フランスのルイ・レアールが、世界で最も小さい水着としてビキニスタイルの水着を発表した。発表の4日前にアメリカが原爆実験を行ったビキニ環礁からその名前がとられた。

July 5, 1946, French Louis Louis Réard has announced a bikini-style swimsuit as the smallest bathing suit in the world. Its name from Bikini Atoll that the United States has made a nuclear test four days before the announcement was taken.
