11月7日は山の神の日。

○11月7日は「紀州山の日 」
和歌山県が1994(平成6)年に制定。 紀州の山村ではかつて旧暦11月7日に山の神に感謝する祭が 行われていたことから。 山林に対する理解を深め、人と山が共生する山村作りを啓発 するための活動が行われます。
○所で奥様も「山の神」ですよ。
山の神は一般に女神であるとされており、そこから自分の妻のことを謙遜して「山 の神」という表現が生まれた。（Wikipedia）

Wakayama Prefecture enacted in 1994.
From that festival to thanks for  the mountain god or goddess had been done in the past lunar calendar November 7 in the mountain village of Kishu.
It is understanding of forest, the activities to enlighten Yamamura(Mountain village)  making the people  rich  and the mountains to symbiosis is done happy.
