彼は生まれはアメリカ，国籍はオーストラリア，故 郷はなぜか日本と言う不思議なユダヤ人です。パル バースが持ち前の機知とユーモア，鋭い批評精 神で綴る，日本文化への愛情告白と「愛すれば こそ言いたい」痛切な苦言である。
彼は２０歳までアメリカに住んでいた。彼はその後ポーランドやフランス辺りをさまよい、旅行先で生活もしていた。彼はその旅路の途中で日本に来た。そして 彼はそこに半永久的に落ち着くことになった。
彼の言葉。
「私はこの国と恋に落ちたのであり、恐らく日本人の耳には奇妙に聞こえるか もしれないが、この国を私の故郷にしようと心に決めたのである。」
「私は初めから日本に親しみを感じた。ほとばしる情熱にまかせ、日本の言 葉を一生懸命勉強した。  私は２９年かけて日本中を旅して歩い たが、その中で北九州と東北にはなんとも言えない魅力を感じた。」

He was born in America, nationality Australia, and he is a  Jews and he says his hometown is Japan.
Mr. Palvers has inherent wit and humor, spell with sharp criticism spirit, says love confession to the Japanese culture.
He says "I love Japan so I want to say", which is a poignancy of candid advice.
He had been lived in the United States until 20 years old . He then wandered  around Poland and France , also lived in some place that he wonewred.
