法王の祈り

キリスト教徒とイスラム教徒との和解は平和への大きな希望であります。
フランシスコ・ローマ法王は トルコ訪問中である。
法王は１１月２９日に最大都市イスタンブールで「ブルーモスク」の通称で知られる Sultanahmet Camii （イスラム礼拝堂）を訪れた。
法王は Grand Mufti: （イスラム教指導者）の横で、無言の祈りを捧げた。
　現地からの報道によると、法王はしきたりに従ってモスクの入り口で靴を脱ぎ、イスラム教の聖地メッカの方角を向き、頭を垂れて約２分間、「神への崇敬の黙想」（バチカン報道官）をした。
　イスラム過激派組織によるキリスト教徒の迫害が中東やアフリカで続く中、モスク訪問は法王が推進する宗教間対話の重要性を象徴的に示す意味がある。
　前任法王のベネディクト１６世も２００６年にトルコを訪問した際、同モスクで祈った。

I think this is very  importance that  reconciliation of Christians and Muslims and can be found in the great hope for peace.
Pope Francisco  is in Turkey visit.
Pope visited the Sultanahmet Camii (Islamic chapel), known for the name of "Blue Mosque" in the largest city Istanbul on November 29.
Pope stood next to the Grand Mufti:  (Muslim leader), devoted silent prayer.
According to reports Pope took off the shoes at the entrance of the mosque in accordance with tradition, and the the direction of Islamic Mecca, about 2 minutes bowed head, "meditation of reverence to God"
While persecution of Christians by Islamic extremist organization continues in the Middle East and Africa, mosque visit of Pope  is symbolically shown refers to the importance of interreligious dialogue pope promoted.
When also Benedict XVI predecessor Pope visited Turkey in 2006, I prayed in the same mosque.
