５月４日、 英王室は、ウィリアム王子（３２）とキャサリン妃（３３）の間に生まれた王女が「シャーロット・エリザベス・ダイアナ」と名付けられたと発表した。ウイリアム王子の母ダイアナ妃の名前をミドルネームにしたのである。
