9月12日午後5時半すぎ。世界のマエストロ、小澤征爾さん（80）が国宝、二条城の特設ステージ（京都市中京区)でベートーベンの交響曲第９番の第４楽章「歓喜の歌」を指揮した。約120人の合唱団員も参加した。
聴衆は約500人だった。小澤征爾さんの健康を祈る。
