言葉は文化である。言葉への尊敬の思いが大切である。これは日本語についても言える事であります。
「マイ・カー」とはいうが、「マイ・こたつ」とはいわない、必要なのは語学でなく語術である。著者は異文化の人との意思疏通、コミュニケーションとしての英語を考える。受験英語は本当の英語ではない。
この本は教育のベテラン達が縦横に語るシンポジウムであります。

I read the "Why Japanese English to poor   Mark Petersen".
Word is culture. We must respect for words. It  is important. This was also same for the Japanese.
We can  say "My Car", but does not say that "My kotatsu", what is needed is a word meaning  rather than a language study. The authors consider the English as intention  communication with people of different cultures. Exam English is not a true English.
This book will be a symposium that veterans of education talks in many  directions.
