乃木大将日本人

「乃木大将と日本人  S・ ウォッシュバン」を読む。
原作名「Nogi      Stabley Washdurn」
著者ウォッシュバンは、アメリカ人従軍記者であった。彼は日露戦争において旅順攻囲戦の陣中で、乃木将軍に接し、乃木大将のこの人格に深く感動した。
著者の言葉「大きな仕事よりも、むしろ人格によって、その時世に非常な貢献をする人が、三十年に一度か、六十年に一度くらい出現することがある。それが乃木大将である。」

I read the   "Nogi       Stabley Washdurn"
Author Washburn was an American war correspondent. He was contacted  with General Nogi in the Russo-Japanese War, and he was deeply moving to  personality of General  Nogi.
Writing of the book "than larger work,  rather personality which  people who very contribution to the era .
Auther said that "Only one person to respect in three decades or sixty years."  He was General Nogi.
