○11月17日は「国際学生の日(International Students' Day)」
今日は学生運動の記念日です。 1939年 11月17日 チェコスロバキアに侵攻していたドイツ軍が学生のデモ行進を鎮圧し、 教授2人と学生9人を殺害した。
1942年のこの日、ワシントンに世界各国の学生の代表が集 まってその犠牲者を追悼し、この日を記念日とすることを宣言した。

German Army killed 2 professors and 9 students .
