○10月21日は「あかりの日」 日本電気協会・日本電球工業会等が1981(昭和56)年に制定しました。 1879年10月21日のこの日、トーマス・エジソンが日本・京都産の竹を使って白熱電球を完成させました。 あかりのありがたみを認識する日です。 ○ October 21 is "The Day of Light" October 21, 1879, Thomas Edison has perfected the incandescent light bulb using bamboo in Japan, Kyoto .
