10月15日は「世界手洗いの日」です。ユニセフ「国連児童基金」が2008年に定めました。
日本ユニセフ協会によれば石鹸を使ってしっかり手洗いができれば、世界で年約100万人の子供たちの命が守れる。手洗いは感染症から子供たちを守るの命を守るため最も効果的で、安あがりな方法とされる。
